We proudly introduce you to Mildred Batts AKA “Milli Mills”, CEO & Founder of Millhouse Entertainment in Austin, Texas, and host of the ‘BRING IT IN THE HOUSE’ weekly podcast show!

Text-Only Version
We were given the honor to sit down with Mildred Batts, also known as “Milli Mills”, CEO/Founder of Millhouse Entertainment, an Austin-based nonprofit corporation. Milli established the company back in 2007 after feeling personally called to serve as a liaison between local industry professionals and major industry executives; she saw the need especially in low to moderate-income families, where gifted and talented youth had little to no help jump-starting their careers. Milli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management, both of which have equipped her with the proper knowledge and skills to achieve her organization’s mission: “To enhance artistic development of youth through educational awareness of the arts/entertainment industry.”
Millhouse Entertainment offers their services free of charge, but limit their availability purposefully, as fewer clients permit a more personal and intimate experience overall. Their current offerings include ongoing internships, annual academic scholarships, Art of the Arts educational seminars, and opportunities to be featured on ‘Bring it In the House’, Milli’s very own podcast show. For 2025, their goals are to increase brand awareness in Austin, and grow their social media following on all platforms.
When asked what keeps Milli focused and motivated to continue her mission, she replied, “My faith walk with God keeps me focused and motivated. God instilled an intuitive spirit within me that helps me sense the need of others.”
Milli is very active in the community; she serves in the Media Production Department at Shoreline Interdenominational Church and also serves on various committees with Beta Psi Omega Austin Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Milli has also gladly featured Honored Abilities and our amazing authors on her podcast to do what she does best – showcase talent. We love working hand in hand with her and her esteemed organization!
Milli shared her favorite quote with us. “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” ~ Muhammad Ali
