We were given the honor to sit down with Angela Angell, a hard-working woman who wears multiple hats; she’s a Realtor®, established book author, and a business owner all at the same time! Angela began her real estate journey about 18 years ago, after working in retail sales management since the age of 16; she wanted a career where she could make her own hours and be her own boss. Since then, Angela has become a top-producing real estate agent with Coldwell Banker, and proudly serves Seattle, Washington and the greater Puget Sound region. Angela also began authoring children’s books about 2 years ago after adopting a cat named Keke. Angela shared with us that she had wanted to write children’s books ever since she was in college, but like many, life happened and this dream got put on the back burner; that is until the now-famous Keke inspired her to ‘just do it’!
Aside from her professional life as a full-time Realtor® and author, Angela takes care of her grandbabies who happen to absolutely love her books and motivate her to write even more. Angela also remains deeply involved in the community due to her strong passion for giving back; she proudly supports Midnight Star Sanctuary, a non-profit rescue sanctuary for horses, which her and her sister-in-law established back in 2020.
Angela’s goals for the rest of the year include finishing a novel she’s currently working on, writing a movie script, and potentially writing yet another entertaining book about ‘Keke the Kitten’.
Angela has a big heart, and is always looking out for everyone’s best interest. She has a particular love and talent for finding forever homes for people and animals alike! We are proud to be a part of Angela’s living legacy, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her on her journey!
Angela shared her favorite quote with us – one that she takes to heart after a near-death experience at the age of 40, during which she fractured of every bone in her face in an ATV accident:
